Why Silent Drumming?

I’m a serial apartment drummer, having lived in apartments for the last 15 years or so and trying to keep up my drumming chops at the same time. As a result I’ve become pretty good at hiding my drumming from my neighbors and not annoying them in general, while playing drums as much as I want to, when I want to. I didn’t make it happen overnight, I had to learn a few techniques to silence drums and keep the noise down. I cover everything I learned here, plus compile in more info from other sources around the Web.
