Time to get creative. This guy has a cool video showing how he dampened his kit with a yoga pad. Think about it – those yoga pads can have a nice foam consistency to them, and can work well as a cheap dampening material if you are looking for something you can buy from the store and cut into pieces. Plus, as in this case, it can look neat if you find one with a design on it.
